We had a mystery smell for quite a while in our pantry a while back. Turns out it was potatoes we had just bought recently. I guess some of them were already bad. We even knocked out the trim at the bottom of the pantry to look under it to see if there was a dead mouse or something. Seems to always be some kind of smell around here. This house is a real babe magnet if you couldn't tell lol.

Although she might have just forgotten about you like you said haha. Or, maybe she's been thinking about you for all this time, and then thinking there must be something wrong with her since you never called. Now she's developed an eating habit and all her hair has fallen out...all because you were careless and lost your phone and the piece of paper.

You're such a douche. LOL!!!!

 I'm 66% sure that didn't happen...

kingtut wrote:More importantly-- how in the world did you lose the paper AND a phone!?? Sigh...

I think I left my phone on top of my car or dropped it getting in. as far as the paper. I wrote it on the back of a receipt thinking it was just a regular piece of paper. so finding it was hard.....

Tried calling.... but she no longer has that number. who doesn't keep the same phone number their entire life?

People change due to harassing calls or of the number not portable or if that was never her number. However I can't day who does as my number has been with my parents since 1995 and I took it in 2001 lpl

I hate the ones that fly in packs and you walk into them inadvertently and they they end up in your eyes, up your nose or in your mouth. I HATE those things.

Freaking excel energy bill at my new apartment was $130 for the first month. So I called to see what was up, and turns out that's average for this place. I was told it would be around $20-$30 a month by the apartment management when I signed my lease.

Add that to the list of shit I pay too much for I guess lol

My electric bill was $150 this past month. And yes, I do crank the AC 24/7 because I work from home now. And it's still 80+ in here. :\

that's insane... or an INCREDIBLY inefficient place. My 3 story house is half that and we keep the AC at 72F.

Mine was $63 last month. I only use the AC when I need to.

Given how much you use it in your car, I'd say never.

I never understood people having the ability to use something that would make them more comfortable, and not using it, unless 80 degrees is comfy for you.

Comfortable is subjective. I don't always like cold air blowing on me. Sometimes I just like the fresh air from outside and hearing all the sounds around me (including my car) with the windows down. Other times I will roll the windows up and turn the AC on for a little at a time to mitigate the heat.

This is generally after the car has been parked in the garage, so it's not 120 degrees inside. If it's been parked in the sun the AC always comes on.

Plus, a big reason I almost never used the AC in the past is it saps power. It was noticeable in my SRT4 and MS3, and of course my slower cars like our old Neon and my wife's Impreza. It's not nearly as noticeable in the Mustang. I'm kind of glad the AC doesn't work in the Miata because the thing can barely move if I turn the AC on, lol.
