BOV give you away. A 350Z (Burnt orange/copper color) with a bodykit came flying onto 6th ave way too fast and nearly hopped lanes into to me. Driver side of his car nearly got glued to my passanger side. Well he flew around me and when he was 2-3 car lenghts ahead of me I floored it and quickly caught up to him. Well the BOV scarred the guy and he didn't want to play speedracer anymore. He slowed down and was driving more calm.

So the other evening I was rolling up to a stoplight when I noticed a newer body M3 sitting at the light in front of me. He noticed my big red car in his mirror and kept peeking back till he gave it a few good revs (sounded awesome btw). So the light turns green and we keep cruising down the road until he changes lanes starts pacing me. Then the moment I was waiting for finally happened, I heard him downshift and I wasn't about to endure another flyby for the day... so I beat him to the punch and slammed my MS6 into 2nd gear @ about 30mph and took off. This is the money spot for my car, so I gave it all it had for a quick second and let off with a big whoosh of my BOV. I'm not sure if it was all that impressive looking, but the numbers on my car from the previous day at Bandimere Speedway definitely caught his attention lol. He made no attempt to get next to me for the rest of the drive down the road :)

Ran a G37 sedan tonight. Those things are surprisingly quick. I only put about a car and a half on him through mid 4th. Didn't help that I spun all the way through 2nd and half of 3rd because the roads were wet.

What did you run at Bandimere? If you don't mind me asking.

I was assuming he meant numbers on the side, e.g. vinyl numbers..

Not great, only ran once and had a 1 second reaction time with my 30 minute idle + heatsoaked car so I'm gonna keep this one to myself for now. Still beat a mustang 5.0 fox body though B)

Got stuck behind a black Del Sol this afternoon. Douche-driver had a fart can, some fake BMW-style fail-vents on the front fenders, and an SiR badge on the trunk lid (did they sell that version in the US?). Even had the stereotypical Asian kid driving it lol. THe rear window was shattered, and shards of the safety glass were still hanging in the frame. LOLOLOLOL.

Damn exhaust was spitting out disgusting black smoke, so I moved over a lane and started to pass him. Of course, he couldn't let that happen, could he? He dropped a gear and got on it. The smoke of course got WORSE (that happens when VTEC kicks in, yo!), and the sound became horrendous as well. Kind of like a weed whacker hitting a yellow-jacket nest.

But I'm not sure the car actually went any faster. Either way, the MS6 destroyed him, and I left him bus lengths behind.

Next light, of course, he lines up beside me and as the other direction's light turns yellow, starts inching forward to jump the light.

He failed and bogged. More bus lengths. This time, he stayed WAY WAY WAY behind me. That's good. I was done with his smoky bullcrap anyway.

Finally got a legit run with a 335i. We were both slowing down for a light. I was ahead of him by a few car lengths. The light turned green before we stopped and I shifted into 2nd. He hit it and caught up quick and I hit it too and he started out at my rear door. He stayed right there till around the middle of 4th when I slowly pulled a little more on him. Ended about a half a car behind, so that's about 1 car I pulled him him by the beginning of 6th (yea yea too fast I know). We slowed down and he pulled alongside and just smiled and nodded and said "Your car's pretty fast." I smiled back, and at the next intersection we went our separate ways. It was an older guy so I doubt he's modded but you never know.

I had a laugh on the highway the other night. Dude in a TT was trying to egg anyone and everyone on. First, me (yeah, in a very unmodded white Volvo wagon), the a dropped/modded Tahoe went by so he sped up and caught up to him. When he wouldn't dance, a newer 3 series was in the mix, but he wouldn't play either. Poor TT had nobody to play with, but it was funny watching him try.
