I hate that too. Or like today when I'm hauling around an extra set of wheels and tires in the back. Don't want to damage anything so taking it easy.

Having other cars want to play when you're breaking in your engine and can't boost at all and can't go above 4k RPMs. ARGH!

Although the one tonight was a Crossfire...meh, not worth the petrol LOL.

Sort of along the same lines, having other cars want to play when you just pulled out of your neighborhood and your engine is still cold.

Or when someone pulls up next to you at a light and you forget to turn the traction control off and the computer ruins your fun and shuts you down in 3rd gear. Ugh. :\

It really is. I have to get in the habit of turning the traction control all the way off before I even leave my garage. I can push the button once while driving and turn just the traction control off, but the stability control portion is still on, and will still intervene if it thinks you are getting too crazy. Only way to turn it all the way off is to be stopped, foot on the brake, and hold the button for 7 seconds. Then you can drive as crazy as you want and it won't interfere. Just sucks when you forget to do that before leaving and someone pulls up alongside you and you look like you can't drive worth a crap because the car is bucking all over the place while the computer tries to cut power and hit the brakes to keep you from spinning the tires.

yup... It's like putting in a cheat code for the Evo X to engage super-sport mode to launch. Up, Down, Left, Right, A, B, B, A... OK, now I don't look like a Civic off the line.

Can't find the damn spare key for my 6, and likely going to have to pay $155+ if I want another key.
