I believe I read the headline, but not the article. Someone, somewhere got promoted today, and everyone has been replying to all congratulation.

Banned. :D

I love the smell of high octane, carb'd, no cat, old school :) My bike actually smells a bit "octane-ish" though too, and I love it.

It makes me sick dude. Nothing worse than driving, smelling that crap-stinch, and finding some 1960's pick up a few miles up the road.

Not that I don't like the smell of gas- cuz I do. Bikes, yesz. I even found myself sticking my nose up the tailpipe of a sa-weet evo this am. Not really, but it smelled good..

Cliff notes:
Modern vehicles, yes.
Old rustbuckets, no.

Not being informed that when I step out to lunch, my entire lab space will be dismantled to install new monitors/keyboards/kvms, which happens to occur right in the middle of when I'm running some tests and sets me back 6 hours. Had I known, I could have planned around it. Even more frustrating is the fact that the install was left incomplete due to not enough video adapters, and things were just left that way, but of course all the old equipment was already carted away meaning I cannot access 3 computers that are critical to my work.

^I know where you're coming from.

In my old unit, the mission is still fairly new and we were trying to prove to the rest of the USAF it's usefullness. So when we were playing in an exercise with Nellis AFB it was kind of a big deal. We went to Harris to set up all the equipment, get the antennas pointed, etc the night before the exercise kicked off, that way when we went in the next night everything would be ready. We got there the first night of the exercise and they had all the equipment pulled out of the racks doing maintenance, which pretty much negated going in the night before. PISSED.

I hate people that pull the race card. Usually means that they are the ones that are racist.
