Myspace was crap.

And yea most of my communication with even family is through Facebook. Not my parents so much because they are texting now, but like cousins and aunts and uncles that live in other states. It's a fantastic communication tool and it's FREE. You just do have the downside of having to weed out annoying people, but they do make it pretty easy to do that. Someone pisses you off, 2-3 clicks and they're never heard from again.

hell yeah it is!

Shadowden wrote:You're probably right...I guess it isn't Facebook itself, it is the fact that there are people who assume everyone spends their life on facebook and therefore use it as their sole medium to put information out. I may joing some day and have a change of opinion though (I tried myspace...didn't like it).

I used to be anti-facebook, but now i like it quite a bit... Its great for keeping in touch with everyone through one channel, even if you don't have their #'s or address's... Some of the endless baby-pics are annoying, but all you have to do is click that persons profile and check 'hide from timeline' and you don't have to deal with it...
I use it to post artsy pics I take about once a week, and that's the extent of my posting. friend me? ;)

Comcast and Century Link's homepages. Can they cram enough bs on there, its bogging down my comp mahn!

Secondly (on said homepage/s)...when you go to click on a link, then the page loads something else, skips, and you click on some random link you never wanted, ARgh!

Century Link's webpage really is the worst. You'd think an Internet company would be able to make a decent webpage that wasn't borderline unusable. Extremely slow, and they don't even have simple things like the tab indexes set up so you can type in your username and hit tab to type in your password. Garbage.

Yea, I saw that yesterday. I'm not a religious person and I was a bit peed off.

Totally agree with all this. Honestly, I'm not surprised by the Google thing. Also, I think I somehow work with more incompetent people with every new job I start, and a meal doesn't seem complete without something to accompany the eggs. I also need pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy or something with it too.

People that try to murder you when you're playing a sport just because they don't usually play and don't know how, or for whatever reason. We played basketball for PT today for about an hour and a half. Pretty tough on me already since I'm getting older, but whatever. Anyway, I've played my whole life, but I understand when I play with people that haven't or don't play much at all, so I don't call things like traveling, double dribble, whatever. I usually don't even call fouls when I get fouled unless it's blatant or if I really get hurt. I used to leave games with cuts and bruises and still be happy. Anyway, one of my coworkers about got it today though. This guy would lower his shoulder and run faster when I set a pick on him, trying to knock me off my feet, and then say "oh, I just knew I was going to be stopped and I didn't want to get knocked over". Yeah, ok. He would also attack whoever had the ball, and he did it to me one time so I eventually just lowered down and ran right at him. He said "I wasn't using my hands, just my body!" Uh yeah, still a blatant foul. I wouldn't mind if it was an accident, but every time was intentional. He does the same kind of stuff when we play football. It's ridiculous. Anyway, I'm going to have a talk with him tomorrow but he's leaving soon anyway so whatever.

That's why I gave up playing hockey. Even floor hockey at DU filled up with former high school heroes. People would actually want to fight. In floor hockey. It was ridiculous. For some reason, I'd get targeted a lot, must've been Napoleon syndrome.

I concur about getting older, ugh. With each passing year, I get slower, have less energy and skill.

Driving around with no boost and having all these STIs and WRXs want to play. I need to send the turbo for a rebuild stat. I miss my boost.

The funny thing is he came and bumped into me on purpose like roughing me up one time when the ball wasn't even in play, not to mention he wasn't even the one guarding me the whole game lol. I told him about it today and he didn't know what I was talking about LOL.
