I did yesterday, along with all of my trees... It's been so dry things can die if you don't... And it's warm enough that your grass will be greener, on this side. :D

It is actually advantageous to water in winter at times like these. A lot of soil moisture is lost, then needs replenished. For those curious, the watersheds that provide denver and other front range areas are in very bad shape and so is reservoir storage....

That's what I figured...and as such, who gives a care about having a green lawn in times like these?

It's interesting that you didn't quote the first portion of Shadow's statement...

It's interesting you missed the context of my initial statement;)

Being told you're being arrested for sitting in a parking lot waiting for a friend.

Apparently the parking lot we were in (Sam's Club) now has a trespassing letter filed with the PD. We did not know this. We were just sitting there waiting for our friend and a cop pulled in behind us. He eventually put his lights on, then several minutes later walked up and told us we were all under arrest and to get out and sit on the ground behind the cars. We told him we were waiting for our buddy in a wheelchair (he drives a Civic that's outfitted with hand controls). He took our IDs and went back to his car. Another cop pulled up and he was really cool and told us not to worry. The a-hole came back about 10 minutes later with our IDs and we asked him what the problem was and he said we were trespassing and that he had turned on his lights, then spoke to use over the loudspeaker telling us to leave. Either it wasn't working or he was lying because we had the windows down with no music on and none of us heard a peep out of him before he walked up. We told him we stayed there after he turned his lights on because we weren't doing anything wrong so we didn't worry. He said we were doing something wrong because we were trespassing. We again told him we didn't know we were and we didn't hear him say anything over the loudspeaker. Our buddy got there right as he was walking up to us though and after he got out of his car and into his wheelchair the guy changed his tune pretty quick.

Do any of you have a Sam's membership? If so, then you're a member and not trespassing. Either way it's dumb that they would try to run off a couple people in a parking lot. If you were having a whole meet there with 20 cars I could see but just a couple cars? Lame.
