Thinking 2 hours early is enough time to get to a Black Friday sale at Best Buy only to find out there are already 1,000 people already in line.

Went to Walmart instead. Sale had already been going on for 3 hours. Snagged a nice 46" TV for $75 more than the TV I went to Best Buy for. It wasn't $400 off like the other one, but still a nice TV for a good price.

That was just when I posted. I'd been home for an hour and a half and was playing some Assassin's Creed on the new TV. :D

I don't think I've ever been shopping on a Black Friday and I don't intend to start now. Screw that noise. Although this is one of the reasons I don't go home for Christmas, I don't have to worry about getting gifts LOL.

That's always been my feeling too. It's not worth the hassle to save $50 or $100. But the TV I went to Best Buy for was $400 off, and that would be worth 2-3 hours to me, but it probably would have taken more like 5-6 to get in line early enough and that would not have been worth it. Ended up not waiting in any lines and still saved $100 on a TV so that's something.

Rubber necking. Do we not see enough car accidents on TV? Do you really need to completely stop traffic just to see yet another accident, or even someone pulled over on the OPPOSITE side of the road? On the way to work this morning traffic completely stopped when the morons in front of each lane decided to stop and look at the wreck.

Then when I got to the next light to turn left to go on base, the car two cars in front of me stopped when the light turned yellow, the guy directly in front of me gets in the second turn lane next to us to go around the guy in front and completely blows through the red light when he turns anyway. REALLY, DUDE?

Oh no Geo...I totally understand being in that post-sick situation. I'm talking about people who are perfectly healthy, just giving a *cough*- for no apparent reason:rolleyes:

Another FedEx rant. This company really tics me off. I ordered the larger Washer Fluid bottle for the RX-8s from a dealership in Canada (US Models only got the tiny tanks) and I had to set up a pickup to get it shipped to me. Let me rewind a little though. The guy at the dealership suggested sending it via Grey Hound and I said sure and to call with a price before he ships it.
He calls and said shipping would be $100 some odd dollars. I said no way am I paying that much. This is coming from Regina,SK BTW. So he says he will call UPS and FedEx to get a quote. I search online and we were both quoted around $50 shipped ground from FedEx. That seems a little high but it is "International." So I make a FedEx account online and call in to have them schedule a pick up from the dealership. Told the guy what I was quoted online and to my knowledge everything is A O K. I'm gonna get the larger capacity tank in 5-7 business days for under $60 shipped.

I get the bottle in the other day. I did not sign for it because I was not at work. I open it and am excited. Today I look online and see that FedEx Charged me $321 for shipping!!! WTF is that? $321 for a that weighs 3lbs with all the packaging. I can send a 20lb box all the way around the world to Greece for $100. This is rediculous. I call FedEx and I am Pissed Off. They tell me to hold while they look everything up. Get off hold and they say they can not do anything because the card is still being processed and that they don't have the full invoice. I'll have to call back on Monday or Tuesday, they won't call me back.

FedEx always tics me off and this is the last time I will use them for anything. I called my bank and had them stop the payment and dispute it. Now I have to wait for paper work to come in then wait to get my money back.

Christmas shoppers.

That's right, "Christmas"...not "holiday"-- that also grinds my gears.
