With those rapid screen deals you have to drive past 2 in the same day. I plan on trying that and hope that I pass. Shut car off and roll on by.

The problem is (uncontrollable rant, hang on) that laws actually protects the people doing bad things and not victims...case-and-point is car vandalism. If you catch some in the act of vandalizing your pride n joy, what can you LEGALLY do? Call the cops, which will take them over an hour to respond, so they've already gotten away, take pictures, collect evidence, ATTEMPT to sue the person in civil court and press charges, but it's a multi-month to year + long process. And then, IF (and that's a big IF) you actually get awarded any money from them by the courts, unless they have some kind of insurance that will pay it out, you then have to go back to court again and get a judgement to collect, and then they'll just declare bankruptcy or something and you'll NEVER get your money anyways.

You're not allowed to physically harm them or anything since your life isn't in danger, so like I said, the law is there to protect people who are perpetrating crimes more than the victims if anything, in at least these civil matters. 50 some years ago the law wasn't like this (or enforced as such at least) and if you caught someone messing with your car you kicked their ### and they never did it again.

Average points scored by the Broncos offense under Tim Tebow last year = 204 / 13 = 15.7 pts per game.

Average points scored by the Manning-led offense = 25.7 pts per game, a total Tebow has only surpassed 3 times in his entire career.

Today Peyton Manning threw for 330 yards with 2 TDs and 0 ints. Tebow never went 300+/2/0 even once in his career. Ever.

The problem is not the offense. The problem in the two losses has been the porous defense. If you HAVE to score 28+ to win, you're going to lose some games.

I believe the love for Manning (although merited) is clouding your judgement. He just doesn't have 'it' anymore.

My love for Manning isn't clouding anything. The numbers don't lie. Tebow wouldn't have won these last two games either. In fact, they most likely would have lost by even more. The only reason he was winning games last year was because the defense kept it close. They are having a harder time keeping the other team from scoring this year and even though Peyton is scoring more points that Tebow did, it hasn't been enough to overcome what the defense has given up.

But it's a long season and no one expected the Broncos to come out of the gate winning every game. Most analysts predicted they'd have a rough first half and then a good 2nd half and still make the playoffs.

And wtf does thinking Tebow is a bad QB have to do with thinking he should be executed? /boggle

It's a common lament of the Tebowners. If you don't like Tebow the football player, it's because you're against his outward display of faith. Personally, I just think Tebow sucks as a QB, 80yd TD pass vs Steelers notwithstanding.

Meh. Point taken about Tebow- moving on... (agree to disagree). Though it was stupid for the Broncos to let him go.

- Manning goes down like a sack of potatoes, if you even look at him wrong.
- You're (I'm) constantly fearing he's going to get hurt.
- He can't scramble for shat.
- His arm is gone. Placement is still there, but he has no 'oomph'.
- I believe one of the TD's was a fluke, iirc (don't hold me to it)

^Never had that problem with State Farm. Never had a problem with them at all actually.

And regarding Tebow, it just seems to me that with all the players out there that people complain about being horrible, Tebow gets the most hate...hmmmm, wonder why. I find it hard to believe he's the worst player out there.

Yea, it must be because of his religion. Not because so many people think he's the best thing since sliced bread and are extremely vocal about how great they think he is.

And yea, the haters are extremely vocal too. Because we just don't understand how anyone could think he is a better option than any other quarterback to ever play the game, let alone a better option than the greatest quarterback of all time.
