CDOT and their "Snow Removal." I like the fact that they went around the neighborhoods and did the side streets, and I think alleys, but the way it was done grinds my gears. You and your neighbors spend time and energy to clear a spot out on the street for your car and in one pass of a plow truck, your spot is filled in with slush and huge clumps of ice, or your car that is parked there gets bombarded with the stuff and a 2' plus wall is barricading it in. My car wasn't on the street but my neighbors cars were and it just pisses me off.

The side streets were not even that bad to get plowed twice. Cars passing by all day compacted the snow and made nice tracks. All you had to do was dig your spot or car out and go. By them plowing they made that way harder to do. I hate to see it when they cause damage to vehicles and get sued. They have V-plows attached to several small trucks that went through the side streets. They could push the snow mostly straight ahead of them instead of off to the sides then scatter it on the main streets.

The businesses on main streets get it bad because all that snow gets pushed into the sidewalks which they are responsible for and also blocks on street parking. There has to be a better way. I think they overreacted about the storm.

I agree! Wish they did my alley, Mazda got stuck when I tried to get it out, so it went back in the garage... BMW made it out very easily :) freedom!
They only plowed the N/S streets but not W/E, so getting around is still tricky...
Wish they would have plowed after that storm before xmas, was stuck for 3 days that time..

Omg. Back to my rant. U spend all the time clearing out a parking space in front of the house which elderly and handicapped people need access to and some lazy ### hole that lives somewhere on the other side double parks in your clear spots.

I hate how people think that Civics are fast... I own a 98 Civic HX coupe 5 speed and I can honestly say its a pretty slow car. They're designed for reliability and gas mileage.

Yah I hope my cleared out spot is still there when I get home! I can only get out of my alley but not back on it bc of the hill/snow
On my street people put cones/chairs/trash cans to save their spots

I double parked my truck to stop people from taking my spot that I cleaned up. But then my neighbor was nice enough to clean out the snow using his plow truck. What grinds my gears is after he did that the hired crew used to clean out the snow does a horrible job. They dont even pour salt or anything to stop ice. They why are they even hired?

Man, the City of Denver gets no love. Bitched at if they don't plow, bitched at if they do. Glad I don't have to street park anymore.

+1 for crappy plowing services. Or business park has a pretty crappy group that plows. They plowed about 2 feet from the curb, one lane. Then left 4-5 feet unlplowed in the middle, then plowed another single lane right next to the other curb on the opposite side of the street. the problem being... people park on both sides of the street. So there is half a lane that is usable to drive on!!!!!

Well down where I live, Greenwood Village and the City of Centennial did a pretty damn good job plowing I think. I went out on Saturday and the roads were pretty clear and dry, so I'm quite happy with the job they did!
