Yes! Haha it was just an orange blip...

I think the NSX counts as an exotic. Production numbers were still kind of low.

The NSX is just a car for people who want to look fast. Not saying NSX's can't be made fast- they can be made blistering quick. The NSX is the car that politely bows out of horsepower competitions and 1/4 mile runs. To make an NSX quick requires a metric shit ton of cash.

That said, I still kind of want one. They look like a Ferrari, can be made stupid fast, and sound AMAZING with full exhaust. They also handle very well, but not as well as the FD I believe, but I've never drove one.

no photographic evidence but spotted a couple the other day, a yellow/back striped Ford GT (man those are cool), and a flare fendered, ironing board winged outrageous white Pantera GT5S. I've seen a couple of older Panteras around, and this one could have been an updated older one, but it was in full-on GT5S clothes.

Not necessarily an exotic in purists eyes, but you rarely ever see an early 90s Lotus Elan. Green/tan. Or at least I rarely every see one.

NSX'x drive like shit imho. the gearbox is SLOPPY and feels like it should be in a semi (longest thro EVER), the clutch feels like a fiesta's and its just kinda "meh" all the way around, at least stock anyways.

Funny, I saw a silver Esprit yesterday. I'd consider that car an exotic for sure...I had never seen one in person before!

Esprits are cool. Elans were not well received. A FWD Lotus roadster. Hmm.

my uncle had an Esprit back in the late 80's. I remember thinking it was the coolest car.

Saw a Ferrari F430 tearing up Harmony in FoCo a few nights ago. I wonder where he was going... reservoir maybe?

Which year did you drive? The newer ones with the 6-speed gearboxes were VASTLY improved. The older 5-speeds, besides being sloppy, also had snap-ring gear issues where the snap ring on the input shaft were come apart, and the transmission would thus explode.

Yes, they are. But the motors are pretty stout- it's not uncommon to see ones going 250,000 miles and still running strong. They also can be boosted on a stock block to high number, like 700rwhp+

Saw a Gallardo the other night on I25 between Castle Rock and Monument. No pics cause it was dark. As is almost always the case when I see expensive, fast cars, he was going 10mph under the speed limit in the right lane. I don't understand the point of having the car if you're going to drive it like a grandma.

Probably because when you're driving a Lambo cops are just itching to pull you over...LOL.

Or the owner is too afraid to wrap his $200,000 toy around a street light...or get a blemish in the paint by driving too fast haha.

No big deal, I'm just curious. I know the 5-speed transmissions have issues. It's a very popular/common mod to swap in a 6-speed from the later cars into the earlier NSX's.

Spotted Andrew on 6th. Was after MazdaMania. Flew by him in a Chevy truck 1500. Bed was full of groceries for the restaurant.

I know his Speed3 isn't an exotic car by far but I think Andrew turned off on Kipling and missed what I beleive was a Silver Ferrari F430 Spider entering from Simms/Union.

I also saw a Yellow Lambo, Can't tell you the model, heading WB while on my way to Denver for the grocery run.
