Time to get more hard drives. I have a fast connection (40Mbps) but still hate waiting for stuff to download so I just keep everything lol. Have two raid arrays, one with a pair of 500MB drives, one with a pair of 1TB drives, so 3TB total. Still going to run out of space soon. :\

funny how like 10 years ago 1gig seemed huge, and now 1TB is barely enough

When you're changing the oil in a car that has not cooled down yet and the oil comes out so fast it splashes everywhere, not to mention it nearly scalding your skin, heh.

a. Turbo related?? oil in intake tract? have you removed the turbo to look for the normal signs?
b. side or corner seals failing?? - i have a compression tester if you can get to Denver
c. worn oil control rings or control ring springs?
d. oil in the coolant?
e. MOP stuck in full load? (longshot since FD is electric i know)
f. What kind of crankcase vent system is in place??--is it catch-can style or is the engine still re-burning it's by-products?? (my thought is on a hard corner you're pulling enough G's to force oil up through and into the intake
That's all I can think of on a rotary, unless it's in the turbo plumbing
well, back to the OMP, are you using the RA adapter or equivalent? or is it engine oil fed still, as I'm unclear from your post

OK, a new one...people that don't post all the info and then rant for an entire paragraph, expecting people to know what they're talking about LOL!! I SHOULD have said I do have the RA adapter with an external tank, injecting 2-cycle, with the engine oil completely blocked off. So I shouldn't be losing any engine oil anymore, which also negates whether the OMP isn't working properly (I don't think it is anyway because my 2-cycle level doesn't seem to be dropping very fast, so it may not be injecting at all). I did notice some oil on the turbine housing of the "old" turbo, where it mates with the CHRA, but it wasn't a crazy amount.

It might still be turbo related. A couple months ago I ran the engine without the turbo and manifold on and it wasn't smoking, so I assumed it was the turbo and swapped out the CHRA. It still smoked IMMEDIATELY with the new CHRA, so I started thinking it was the engine, but the engine is brand new as of this past March/April, so it better not be that.

There better not be ANY rings, seals, etc failing in this engine already haha. If I can't figure it out, I'm rebuilding it again when I get back and doing a new turbo anyway haha. Do you have the Mazda compression tester? Or another rotary specific one? I have a compression tester but it's for piston engines, so far I've had no luck with it reading correctly haha.

I never thought of oil in the coolant, but I haven't seen any indications of there being anything foreign in the coolant. And it's DEFINITELY burning oil anyway.

I haven't been doing anything crazy with this car...yet, so I'm not really taking corners excessively hard or anything like that, it's just burning ALL the time.

Right now I'm just venting it from the filler neck to the ground, but someone is building custom catch tanks that fit where one of the stock vacuum chambers go and I'm getting one of those as soon as he finishes them.

People at Costco who waddle from one free sample to the next with no cart in sight, all the while oblivious to the fact that some people are there to actually buy stuff. I want to attach a cattle guard to the front of my cart to knock them out of my way.

When you're speaking to someone on the phone, or in person, and you have to fart. But recent history shows that they are not discrete (read: stink or loud). So you end up holding your cheeks together until the convo is complete.

Furthermore, if you're in the process of holding your cheeks- yet you have to walk at the same time...thereby causing you to waddle like a duck.
