And I actually came in here to post about something completely different. It's really annoying to me when people on Facebook tag themselves in pictures of their kids. No, that is not you in that picture. That's your dumb kid. Quit tagging yourself.

In response to your Bronco chat, Erod:

Did you see how many passes his receivers dropped in qtr's 1-3?
I absolutely believe he is vastly improving.

As far as Tebow getting all the credit.... If you watch him in his post game interviews, he continually states, "My team makes me look good.... everyone works together to win....we have faith in each other....so and so did an awesome job" bla bla bla.

I too am very curious to see how the Broncos do against "TOM BRADY and the...patriots"

I'm not saying Tebow is taking credit he doesn't deserve. I'm saying that other people are giving him more credit than he deserves. He has stayed humble through all of this. It's not Tebow I have a problem with, it's his fans, lol.

erod550 wrote:Still think that? Where are your stats to back this up? He was abysmal through 3 quarters AGAIN this past Sunday. 3 for 16 for 45 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception. Then it seems like defenses start falling asleep because he's so bad, and all of a sudden they start giving up yards in the 4th quarter. I don't know why teams start running soft zone prevent defense at the end of these games when the defense they've run all game has been working beautifully.

Um, he's the ONLY QB you've had since Orton, lol. And once again, you're attributing all the wins to Tebow alone. This brings up one of my favorite sub-headlines I've seen recently: "More impressive than Tim Tebow's record as a starter is his ability to get more credit for those wins than he deserves." The game against Chicago was not won by Tebow. It was handed to the Broncos on a silver freakin' platter by Marion Barber. He inexplicably ran out of bounds when they already had the game won and just needed to run out the clock. Then in OT he was gone for a TD except "Oops, I should have taken the ball with me." Neither of those things were influenced in anyway by Mr. Tebow.

And once again, they win, but it took a miracle ending against a bad team. The Bears were good until they lost their quarterback. Now, they are not. The Broncos are going to quite possibly be the worst team in NFL history to finish with a 10-6 record.

I'm really looking forward to this Sunday though. The beating the Patriots are going to give the Broncos is going to be glorious. Tebow magic won't work when you're down by 3+ touchdowns in the 4th quarter.

Where are my stats? He was 21/40 at the end of the game on Sunday, which while not perfect, is better than the 2/8 and 9/20 he was against the Chiefs and Jets respectively. Not mo mention, he had more rushing yards in the game on Sunday than anyone else on the team.

And I realize now that I said our best QB since Orton, but I mean since Elway. I'm not saying Tebow wins these games alone. The defense has really stepped up this year (Miller for defensive rookie of the year!). The offense is playing better. But on Sunday, the offense played horribly. Thomas shouldn't have dropped the balls he did, and they overall weren't playing well. What matters, though, is that we got the win. We pretty much ended Chicago's season and almost guaranteed ourselves a playoff spot. And let's remember, so far this season Tebow has a QB rating of like 83.9. Orton is at 75.2.

Chicago's season was already over when they lost Cutler. Don't take credit for that.

And you specifically said "Tebow started off only really playing well in the fourth quarter. He has progressively gotten better since he took over, becoming more consistent and playing better as a whole. He still isn't perfect or consistent through the entire game, but he is getting better." But he is still sucking in the first 3 quarters and only playing well in the 4th quarter. That's not an improvement to me if he's still doing exactly the same thing he's been doing all season. You can take the entire game stats to show how much he's improved at being consistent through the whole game and not playing terribly for 3 quarters and good only in the 4th.

And I figured you meant Elway, I just thought it was funny since there haven't been any QBs between Orton and Tebow.

Man, there's enough Tebow everywhere else. Does he have to take over the grinds thread, too?

Best QB since Elway. Ummmmm, I'll take Plummer (20 games over .500), or Cutler over Tebow.

And erod, it's sooooooooooo good to see, I'm not the only one noticing, all the breaks seem to go Tebow's way.

Miami win, at the time, they were tied as one of the worst teams in all of football, and they are still well under .500 Also, the whole world near the QB draw was coming, why not the Miami D?

Detroit just goes to show, what happens, when the other team can score points, and make you HAVE to throw.

Oakland Palmer's 1st game starting for the Raiders. His 3 picks, didn't help his team, and McGahee ran all over them for 160 rushing yards. Tebow did have a solid game, but it was a pure team win.

KC Matt Cassel went down in the game, and KC has been beat up all year. Also another sub .500 team. The Denver D held KC to 258 total yards.

Jets Eh, why the Jets chose to do an all out blitz?!? And the pick 6 Sanchez threw was a BIG reason for the Broncos win. But a good win for the team over a legit squad. But the Denver D truly kept the offense in the game.

San Diego Philip Rivers only passing for 188 yards?!? That's the Denver D stepping up yet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And keeping the score within reach for the offense.

Vikings NO PETERSON, and the Viking D had 5 DB's injured coming into the game, if I recall correctly, they had to play rookies, and guys fresh off the waiver wire. Notice 3 of the long plays, NO defender was to be found. erod, could have made those passes. Also Ponder threw for 381, and "could" have taken the Vikes down the field for a win, BUT the Broncos DEFENSE forced an interception.

Bears, *See erods post*

Tebow IS improving, and has shown he can make plays when needed. But the Denver defense has played a HUGE role in this win streak. Along with big errors, or injuries by other teams.
