Went to Rudi's Deli in Winter Park late last week. A quaint little place...total ski-bum-far-out-dude-esque type of joint. A nice variety of items on the menu. http://www.winterparkdeli.com/Site/Menu.html

I opted for the Timberline Turkey Panini. You get two half-sandwiches (and choice of side-- I opted for the slaw) for nearly $10. The panini was pretty darn good, about what I expected from the vibe I got. Better fresh than leftover 3 hrs. later. The slaw was fresh tasting, not all weighted down and mass-produced by Kroger or something.

I'd go back.

Wow.. All this talk about burgers and nobody mentioned Diego Zhang's???

There's one at Arapahoe & University (shopping center on sw corner) and I think two other locations in Denver area...

Small GOOD burgers.. Get the double denver w/cheese... Yum.

I thought I had mentioned it in here. I used to live right down the street from Streets at Southglenn. I thought their burgers were okay-ee. Small, yes. But better quality.

Give Saj a try... Not a burger joint by any means, but right around the corner from Diego's.

Went there. Didn't like it.

I still stand by my choice of the White Chocolate Grill for the best hamburger I've had anywhere around town.

I also love smashburger, but it's the same at all. Delicious, but horrible for you and a completely different style of burger.

I've actually heard the same thing about IKEA. Good meatballs and overall decent food.

I don't dare go near there for another 3-6 months, ha ha

The Dusty Boot: http://greenwood.dustyboot.com/contact

By the name alone, we were a little apprehensive. But let me say... this was a diamond in the ruff. Well, geographically speaking- this place is actually nestled amongst a very well-to-do area. The demographic was 40+, upper-middle class-penny-loafer-type. Prices are moderately decent. Quality bar food. Pretty small in general, with an open concept. Half restaurant, half bar...and a patio. About 6 tap beers, one of which is Blue Moon-- one of my go-to's.

We went during HH. 2.75 pints, hey yo!

I had the Mountain Man Burger...med well (glares at miT). Although the burger came out grey...it was still plenty juicy and VERY delicious!! Their fries were really crispy and quite good. I don't normally finish all the fries, but I mowed these down. I personally preferred the burger I had here over that of The Cherry Cricket. Burger was $10 and well worth it.

The misses had a Ranch Chicken Wrap -- very good also. We will be going backB)

I think they have other locations. But as I've found with most things... locale is key to experience:huh:
