having a n/a i4 6, racing really isn't possible. The lack of really cool mods prevents me from
entering/winning any shows. As for meets, I might actually show for this one since trish bowed out. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]

not true as its not the fastest car when it comes to Bracket racing that matters. It's consistancy. That's what its about.. The Reaction time, hitting your shift points, consistant runs. If i had a little moped i could race up there and if i was the most consistant win.

Time's really mean nothing in Bracket racing. So stop complaining about your weak 6i.

there en lies the second and more troublesome issue, my reaction time or lack there of sucks big time. I could have a 900 hp car and still pull a 18 sec quarter mile. so I am not at all complaining about my car, it has the speed I need, but it isn't a race
machine so it nor I will be dragging... that's all. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]

i agree however, i also like it becuase it makes more of an even match. Its not fun to go up to a line, and race a car say like my buddy's old vette against our cars and get your butt handed to you. I would much rather have a shot.
