Cornwell Toolbox Drawing Benifit

Postby Xray_Chica » Thu May 14, 2009 9:14

Hi! My name is Amy and I have been a member on this board for a couple of months now. Two weeks ago, my good friend Aaron Niles was injured in a serious accident a Pueblo Motorpark. His neck was broken and he has spent the last two weeks in Neuro ICU in Pueblo. Thankfully Aaron will make a full recovery, but it will be a long road. As you can imagine, the medical expenses are adding up quickly.
Aaron is a Cornwell Tool Man, and Cornwell has put together a benefit to help Aaron and his family out. For $10.00 you can enter to win a Cornwell 67" toolbox valued at $8295 and a Cornwell MM100 4 drawer cart valued at $700. There will be one drawing for the box and one drawing for the cart.

Please see the message below from Aaron's boss with contact information. If you have any questions I can be reached on here, or you can give me a call at 303-642-6314.

*I am Aaron's district manager for Cornwell Tools. I have put together a drawing for a Cornwell 67" Toolbox valued at $8295 and a MM100 4 drawer cart valued at $700. We are trying to sell 1000 tickets. I have set up a paypal acct. that you can send $10 per ticket to. Just leave your name and phone # so I can enter you in the drawing.
Send payment to cwing@cornwelltools.com and I will register you.
You can also buy from your local Cornwell dealer.
If you want you can also send a check to
Chuck Wing

Just put Aaron's name in the memo.*

Thank You,
Amy McCulley

Very cool Amy. You may want to edit your post, to change the font of Chuck's comments though. It's kinda tough to read.

If you have the extra 10 bucks to spare folks, I personally ask you to help out. Aaron is my childhood friend, so for every raffle ticket purchase that any of you make, I'll match one in your name (up to the first 50 of you knuckleheads... more if I can swing it).

Would I just-as-soon buy my own tickets, and try to win the gear for myself? Sure.

But I'd rather help a hurt kid out, who is in need, and get ya'll involved anyway I can. I don't know the difference between a socket and a drill-bit anyway.

So yeah... Aaron can definitely use the help right now, and I want a CMZC'er to jackpot these prizes. PM me if you have any questions that you don't want to post here.

[EDIT:] Also, if you end up PayPal'ing, please PM me the email addy that you use, so I can coordinate with Chuck on the other end. I'll give him the heads-up, and tell him to double up your raffle tickets when he gets your info, and take care of my part. Same if you write a check.

I see that more of these threads are getting posted across the other forum sections, so I just want to TTT this one.

I think 1 thread is just as good as 4, keeps all the discussion in one place.

I'll definitely be buying a couple entries for that box.

Way to go Amy and Brandon.
Aaron is fortunate to have such great friends.
I guess I'll be the first "knucklehead". LOL
Just sent my payment via paypal.
Where are the rest of the "knuckleheads" on the Forum. jk

Hey, if you can't call your eBuddies on a car forum "knuckleheads", when can you!?
=)

Well cool guys. I want to say a sincere "Thanks" for chipping in toward the cause, and to anybody else who does. It means a lot. Do me a favor and PM me whatever email you end up using to perform your PayPal transaction, or if you mail something, gimme the name on the check. I'll call Chuck personally and give him your info, and when he sees your payment come in, I'll have him tally your "matching" entry to whatever quantity you buy. Gimme some time to get it all setup, but send that info to me, and I wish you very good luck in the drawing!

I've updated post #1

Thanks for the heads-up Amy.

And again.... If any of you guys really did purchase tickets, I can't do anything about your match, until you tell me your info and I give Chuck a call. I haven't heard a thing from anybody yet. Image

Thanks everyone!

I know I've already replied to all your PMs personally, but I still just wanted to acknowledge ya'll on the forum, too. It's a great thing that you're doing, and it's a pleasure to be right there alongside you guys, to hopefully help a CMZC'er bring home the prizes!
