Have you talked to Jordan at CPE, or done some tuning yourself? Your MAF and MAP need at least some indications of what to expect, as I'm sure you already know. Just interested to know what you've done to prepare.

I burned out a spark plug and possibly the coil pack in cylinder one. I have just been milking it until I get some more upgraded parts. I may have broken my front dif mount. not sure yet though. just a heads up, don't spray off your intercooler with water and soak it. I got water in the cylinder. Also, I needed to replace my turbo if I wanted to go further with my car. I have had the stock turbo replaced once, and that was before I started racing. the new one won't last long. they are junk. why replace it with the same one? its been fun but it sucks cuz shit breaks. at this point I won't have that bigger turbo on at the e.t. series on the 23rd. it hasn't shipped yet : ( oh well. my times are consistant right now, and that's the key to winning.

So I don't have proof of hitting the 16's with time slips but videos will do right? Somebuddy add me up there. No way I'm slower than a 3s and a CX-7.

CX-7 has same motor as a Speed3/6, so it may be faster.

BUMP for mod to update first post.

But the CX-7 is also heavier than a MS3/6. I was refering to the times that are up on the first post to mine last week. Grinding into second was my main reason that I wasn't doing better than 17.1. I lost a lot of time on because of that

When I ran against that 350Z I want to say that that was my best launch of the night. He ran a 2.731 60' and I had a 2.66 60'. Not sure if I was still in first then or going into second but at the 1/8 mile he was1.4 sec faster than me which due to grinding 2. My Speed at the 1/8 mile was 63 and his 71. Not suer if that run it wouldn't go into 3rd either but at the end of it all he was 2.06 sec faster with a time of 15.78. So if I didn't grind second I'm pretty sure I would have been much closer to his time.

I may go this Wednesday and give it another go. It all depends if I can get the grinding issue resolved with Mazda before then.

Ok, so we went and raced in club clash tonight. Chris ran a 15.22@94.71mph with a 60' of 2.574. I think that's good considering the only thing that we have put on is a CAI.

Best R/T - .429
Best 60' - 2.502
Best 1/8 - 10.004@75.07 mph
Best speed - 94.71

Next club clash is June 20th if anyone wants to join us.

I have a new best time of 13.88 achieved last night at the e.t. series at bandimere. check out my profile for a mods list if interested. key seems to be to literally throw a bag of ice on the top mount and close the hood and let it sit. with that ice cold chill it ran fast. sorry don't have the slip in front of me I will post when I get it. my 60ft was 1.84 also a new record for me. rev it up to 5500 to 6k and let the clutch out fast without "dropping" it. it hauled as definitely stuck me in my seat. wow!

The only weight we have taken out is the spare and we make sure that the car is on the empty light whene we race. (fuel is heavy)
