I won't be able to make it. This will be the first race where it's no longer a 1/4 mile run. The races are being shortened to 1000 feet after the Scott Kalitta accident last month.

I usually go every year with my father, but due to timing of things and my wifes family being in town, Im not able to make it this year

*MOPAR Mile High Nationals.

I'll be at the Block Party on Thursday, but sadly won't be able to make the Races.

Eh, the block parties are just as much fun as the races sometimes.

We are not going to have seat tickets, we have a friend that works with NHRA and so we get tickets to go in places that normal spectators don't get to go... like down on the tar while the cars are racing... woot!! (sorry, had to brag a little)

They usually have the nationals the 3rd week of July, but moved it up to the 2nd week of July this year.
