The new 4Runner

Well, the ST is gone, and I've already sold the 2 things I bought for it, floormats and license plate frame. I'll keep the diecast model, though.

The new Tacoma is nice. It's comfortable, and was used today for a loaded run over to Goodwill (wee). When I get back from Dallas, I'll get the two front windows tinted to match the rear, get some WeatherTechs (amazing how nice they keep the carpets. I never had to vacuum either the Tundra or Focus and the carpets looked brand new underneath those liners. I'm contemplating a few other things already, but mostly cosmetic. Here are a few quick driveway pics.

The truck looks nice. I'd be afraid if I were the Tacoma though...at the rate you go through vehicles, it may be homeless/disowned in a year or so.

I guess this solves the question of whether you would make it to the ST race school.

Technically, I can still go. I won't though. It'd be fun, but happy home life wins out. Stupid work travel.

Usually does unless you weren't smart, lol.

Nice looking truck.

I got the front two windows tinted today by Eric, and some new WeatherTech mats arrive Monday. The only other thing I have planned for the somewhat immediate future is a TRD Pro grill. Down the road, wheels/tires, and other miscellaneous cargo type stuff. Nothing too big, as I don't want to blow the project budget for the Miata, but want to personalize the Tacoma a little bit.

I do like the looks of the TRD pro grill

This thing is a pain in the ass to detail. So many little crevices, rubber molding trim pieces, etc. Sure is nice having the water bead up, though.

Not yet, if it ever stops raining, I want to snap a few pics of the truck NOT in my driveway. Ha.

Just get some pics in a mud hole, there are plenty.

Did you and the little man ever get those steps installed?

We sure did. Personally, I don't love them for me, they're kind of in my way, but they are perfect for him. I'm still waiting for a better deal on a TRD pro grill to get that on. Right now, a grill is the price of a matching Corbeau for the Miata. Yikes.

Can your little guy ride in the miata with a corbeau installed? I don't think the harness would allow that for a while. Not sure.
