Had a nice little leak going under the valve cover. While I was replacing the gasket I decided to paint the valve cover.

My valve cover gasket appears to be leaking too. Lots of moisture around the gap after driving. I have all the stuff to redo the water pump and timing belt, including a new valve cover gasket, it's just such a huge job that I have been putting it off, ugh.

Great video!
You're really zoom-zooming right along there. Thanks for sharing.

So what was the deal with that 335i when you took the inside of the one corner where it looked like he moved out to let you pass, then cut back in? Seemed like something was off there. I ask so I don't end up in a similar situation when I do make it out there. I have a bit of a temper and would like to know when I mess up vs. someone else when my car is at stake.

I don't know. I was confused too. Maybe he didn't see me.... i was surprised but it didn't phase me too much cept for my momentum that i had goin into that corner. I'm guessing that was the line he wanted to take (wide then apex in) and didn't know I was there too *shrug* Just gotta watch and be ready

I thought maybe it was the one corner where that's the line since it's a decreasing radius turn, but yea turn 2 is not like that so not sure what was going on there, unless he didn't see you coming inside there. He obviously wasn't too familiar with the track because he took turn 1 waaaay slow (I did too at first not realizing how much speed you can carry into it).

I hadn't been to the track since January. I was having withdrawals. Also tried a different mounting location. Sorry if its shakey.

The track was wide open again. Managed to get 110 miles of seat time.

Very cool video/gps/trackmap setup. Maybe a little shaky, was it being buffeted by wind? Seem like very nice conditions, warm day and a quiet track!

It was my iphone with Harrys laptimer. It was shaking cuz i mounted it to the window of my hardtop. I usually mount to windshield.

Edit: Added another video.
