Fun! This weekend is pretty general. Will food be provided?

Oh, this wasn't an invitation?

My shift linkage is back together and I took the truck on a drive to Lowes. I need to do some final adjustments to the linkage because it is slightly off still. I also need to figure out why my left turn signal isn't working.

Good luck! I know new baby time, it's tough to get stuff done. I have yet to spend a good duration of time in the garage on the car, definitely nothing like I did on the Miata, yet. Soon, hopefully.

Should have a fall tech day at your place and maybe get a couple of extra hands to help out.

Since the work on the truck still hasn't gotten done, I'm going to try and work on it this weekend.

Next week is my work on truck week. I'm taking time off to get stuff done since it never seems to happen on the weekend.

I finally started to get something done on the truck. Intake has been pulled, cleaned, painted, and reinstalled. Tomorrow I need to clean, paint, and reinstall the valve covers. After that it is onto the oil pan and air cleaner.

Wow. That looks really good. Nicely done.

Are you going to patch the fan shroud?

I am going to patch the fan shroud. I was really pissed when that happened. I had picked up a perfect original fan shroud out of the junk yard and not a month later a mounting molt worked its way loose. The shroud hit the fan when I was driving down the road. It is made out of fiberglass so it shouldn't be to hard to repair.

I still need to pull and reseal the oil pan. I also need to replace the plugs and points. I knew I had them but I couldn't remember what I did with them, turns out there were in a logical place in the cab of the truck, lol. Once that is all done, I have to put the new fluids into it and start it.
