Installed my HIDs on Saturday. They work well, and properly aimed, I still have a very nice light pattern on the road. Pics soon, after I decide on the final mount positions of the ballasts.

Since we are almost at a year since I first started modifying the car, I thought it would be nice to take a look back at how far the 3 has come. I pulled a photo off the web of what my car looked like stock (since I have no pics of it then), and a pic of the car now that the exterior is pretty much finished to my liking.

I've thought about spacers, yes, but not in the front. 10mm would be ok in the rear, MAYBE 5mm in the front, but I'd have to do some rolling to avoid cutting my tires on bumps. She already rubs very slightly in tight turns if I bounce at all.

I'm going to check with Junkie about rolling the fenders on my S2000. If he is able to help, I'll probably plan a trip down there tis winter.

AuroraAxela wrote:The time has come to start my own build thread. This will be a long build due to the complexity (and cost) of the goal, but it should be a fun time.
The mission: convert a Mazda Axela sedan into a car comparable to its MS3 cousin, that is all around fun to drive.
Since the Mazda 3 "i" was only available for sedans with the smaller engine, I will carry that over to the project, and build a Mazdaspeed3 "i" sedan with a 2.0L turbo.
The car:

Why, you might ask? Because I maintain that
