Meh. The guy uses it as a private show room. Half the things shown don't ever get driven and this makes me sad. At least Jay Leno wrenches and drives the crazy stuff he owns which makes Jay 1000 times better than this guy in my opinion.

I guess the elevator looks cool to outsiders but it would be a pain in the ### to have to wait for that damn thing every time you came home or went anywhere. Not to mention blowing $25 every time you operated it, so more than a full tank of gas every time you left the house and came back home. I mean I know the guy's rich but that just seems so incredibly wasteful.

And what's with the host calling it the greatest garage he's ever seen? Because it's underground? Because it's got an elevator? I've seen cooler actual garages just in local real estate ads for houses that you can get for less than that guy spent on the garage alone.

Sorry, not trying to be a hater or anything, but I just wasn't that impressed. Would I turn it down if someone gave it to me? Of course not. But it would definitely not be the route I would go if I was in a position to build my dream garage.

I think it's a cool garage. Given the cost of the home/garage in general, the guy probably farts $100s, so the cost of operating the elevator is irrelevant.

That's an entertaining mental picture.

I wish my farts were full of $100's. Maybe my girlfriend wouldn't hate them so much.
