Oh, and Camaros suck... talk about oogly (eh geo?)

K, so I'll take my 458 Italia over a Mustang. That Mustang is crap!

Forget 458 Italia. When are we going to get an Obama car? I can stop working and collect money from the government for doing nothing... seems to be a good way to go...

Wait... didn't other countries tried that in the past? How did that work out for them? ... hmmm I wonder... dot dot dot...

I didn't realize the political rant thread had moved over here.

OK, back to the "big pile of crap" EVOStang that you will pass up 12 of them on your way to work that Tut would rather get an Optima instead.

Sorry, continue...

btw, it was just a joke... jeez... don't take things so seriously.

I easily see as many Evos (and STIs) as I do new 5.0s on the road. Yea V6 Mustangs are a dime a dozen, but most car guys will dismiss them for the POSs they are. And anyone who can't tell the difference between a V6 and a V8 Mustang is probably not even going to know what an Evo is, lol.

mittay-- always arguing just for the sake of arguing:rolleyes:

A Corvette (ableit more expensive) is certainly a more realistic/common vehicle than your blessed 458. The Mustang is ugly- let it go. How about we post another post in the 'spotted thread', yet w/o any pic:lol:

I know I can't cross shop vehicles that have such a large disparity in cost. "Hon, while you're looking at a new Hyundai Sante Fe, you should also check out the Mercedes GL!"

Regardless, if Ford keeps pumping Mustangs out in decent numbers, be it 5.0 or V6, I'm happy. The world is not a bad place if there are inexpensive RWD coupes available. Looks and (apparent) commonality are subjective. I still see far more appliance family sedans, SUVs, and pickups then I do Mustangs. Heck, there are far more Mazda3s on the road than current gen Mustangs.

For some reason I'm not liking the profile at all. Idk what it is. Looks high and off balanced. Anorexic? (for a mustang) Too lean? (for a mustang) Idk. Didn't they just redesign it not to long ago?

I think the reason for the redesign so soon is because of the 50th anniversary.

Not really. 2010 was a facelift/refresh of the 2005 design (those poor, poor folks that bought the 2010). So by the time the 2015 comes out, we'll be 10 years into the current body style. Granted, the fox body was around for 14 years, followed by the ? for another 10.

Fox was '79-93.
Fox-4 was '94-'04

Yea technically the current ones are all still S197s, same as the '05-'09, even though they did update the front and rear of the car in '10, and they changed the front again in '13 with a slight change to the rear. But the bulk of the car was still the same and it was still the same chassis.

They may not know what it is... but at least they can't confuse it with the base model.

I don't know about that. I've gotten confused a few times with the Lancer and a Evo X with a quick glance. I can tell a V6 stang from a V8, Cobra.......
