That my concern and am also worried about the range on E85. Where you getting bad fuel from multiple stations? How did you know the fuel was bad?

I had a tester I got 52% ethanol content one day then 64 75. Its a mess the direct injection is so finicky with that variable its not worth dealing with. Plus im on the bnr stage 3 turbo and I ran out of injector. I would have had to do 5th port and im not about that life.

E85 isn't guaranteed to be exactly 85% ethanol (the range is somewhere between 50%-90%), which is why you either install a sensor that measures the ethanol content in your fuel lines and has the ECU adjust the fuel/timing tables, or you test the fuel at the station before you fill up, and use methanol to adjust the percentage.

C15 is guaranteed to be 85% ethanol, but its like 4 times the cost of E85 from the pump.

I'm still enjoying my water methanol and my 32 mpg. I highly recommend a big turbo. It's fan freaking tastic

out of curiosity, why did you upgrade the in-tank? you run out of IDC LONG before the in-tank runs out of grunt.

and those are awesome numbers. Big turbo was fantastic, and i second the reccomendation to any speed to grab one up.

My oem one was ruined by dirt getting past the filter. It was mangled. Additionally Cobb now tells any certified Cobb tuner for ms3 to upgrade that sob. The in tank pump only generates 40 to 60 psi of pressure and you then ask the hpfp to generate 20000 to 27000 psi of pressure. You may think you only get 1700 psi of pressure to 2200. Plug in your computer into your Cobb and you will see new fuel tables that you didn't know exsisted. I was with my tuner when he talked to the techs at Cobb and they informed him that people are wasting their cars engines because they go lean for no reason. You're asking way to much from a stock pump. I'm sure people hit 450 hp stock pump but people also do 450 hp on an open deck Honda and expect it to last.

@mortose, I personally watched a 500 hp civic decimate a 700 hp integra tuned by ck. I would personally never go to him. A 1.25 correction factor is ridiculous I didn't know we lived at 9400 feet in elevation. Did he not utilize your vvt. Because your power falls off very hard?

CK didn't do my tuning. I had a tune from Alex at Stratified Automotive (one of the most highly regaurded E-Tuners for mazdaspees out there) We just used his dyno for a dyno day that i set up last year.

And i haven't heard that about the pumps. I never had an issue with mine, thank god. but I don't have to worry about that now.
