Got Rid of the Audi -- Stayed with AWD

It's been quite awhile since I've been on this forum and honestly hadn't thought about it until Eric sent me a link to his post about the wheels.

As I perused, I realized how much better this was than most other forums and that even though I don't have a Mazda, I can still chill with some peeps.

So, I'll now introduce my new ride Lana:

Some modifications :)

The day I picked her up.

She's a 2013 WRX 5-door (obviously) and I have had her since mile 4. So far she's just barely over 2,000 miles and I picked her up about a month and a half ago.

No serious modifications as of yet but I did put some Kartboy shifter bushings in to help with the sloppy feel of the shifter. She's been raced already and beat out two Audi TTs and an S4 (to name a few). I do have plans to modify her more next year with a full exhaust, downpipe and tune. It depends on where I am with the suspension set up by then.

This is by far one of the best cars I've owned (this will be my fourth) and I highly recommend them to anyone considering a great AWD car.

Hello again everyone!

Good looking ride! Do you think you can make it a year before voiding the warranty?

Lana is hot. She is kinda ripped though.

How much did the shifter bushings help? I was super disappointed in the short shift kit I had on my old car. Maybe I should have gone the bushing route to improve the feel instead.

Turbo back on WRX = sex. Love that sound.

The plan is to hold out one year before doing the major power mods. Only... 10.5 months left? lol

The shifter bushings helped tremendously. I was actually surprised how much of a difference I noticed.

My new roommate can do custom exhausts (he is part owner of a fab shop up here in FoCo and can do pretty much anything except for paint) so I'll probably talk to him about how I want the exhaust to be and sound. But she will be mean.

Lana is ripped, she will eat your babies :)

Yeah yeah... that's what everyone has said.

It's been pretty funny though, when I told people I was getting a Subaru some looked at me and went "Oh... playing for the other team now, huh?"

Apparently I'm one of those butch lezzies with the Subie I chose to rock.

Congrats on the new ride! I dig the V70R tucked behind it in the snow picture. :D

I'm surprised you were able to stick it out with the Audi, for as long as you did. Great choice on the replacement, it really does look noice!

Welcome back-

Nice ride. The group of friends I generally hang out with has about 6-7 subies among us from my plain jane NA Impreza to a WRX hatch to a WRX sedan to a couple STi sedans to a Legacy GT lol. Subies everywhere!
