I saw no less than 10 cops along the C/E-470 corridor today, mostly on the Aurora stretch. Watch out!

Its because the President was in town today and they have to shut down extended areas of the highway for his motorcade.

Yup. Pretty much the route from Buckley to Cherry Hills was closed for the trip into town, and back out.

That happened to me one night when I was commuting from Buckley to the Springs. Cops every quarter mile. I was able to speed past them and not one cared even a little. They were all about protecting the prez!

Ya I had to drive to denver today to pick up my wife and I saw a butt load of cops out.. From Castlerock to Arapahoe I saw 6 state patrol, then on Arapahoe I saw 5 city cops.. I was like WTF!!! But I didnt even think about the fact that the Pres was in town..

Ah, see I didn't work today so I had no idea the Pres was in town. That explains why most of them weren't running radar.
