I'll miss the MZ3, probably the best all-rounder I've owned, but now the new beast is in the driveway:
First thing I did today after driving it home from the dealership yesterday was wash and wax with meguiar's.

Woohoo! I like it man. What happened to the CWP one?

Well, last I saw the CWP '10MZ3, it was parked out by the service building at Groove Mazda. I hope it makes a good car for someone, I'd like to think its manual transmission means whomever buys it will really have selected it, and appreciate it fully!

Congrats (again). I'd imagine that it's hard to keep your whips clean, by the looks of that dirt road.

Congrats! I did the same thing a few months ago, traded in my '10 MZ3 for the '12 MS3. Couldn't be happier with it.

Enjoy! Did you get the tech package or not? Where'd you pick it up from?

I did get the tech package "for free" (debatable) because this silver one was the only MS3 they could source that wasn't black or red and it had the tech package installed. The xenon steerable lights are cool, though I am lukewarm on the pushbutton start. Well, okay, actually I dislike it and think it's gonna make pop-the-clutch starts hard should I ever need it. Haven't even tried the onboard navigation.
I bought it at Groove Mazda, though they drove it up from another dealer in Colorado Springs, apparently. I picked it up before the had a chance to stick their logo sticker on (haha). Interestingly, it came with a billet oil cap, but a plastic one in the glovebox.

Congrats! Should be a lot more fun to drive than the plain 3.
The push button start shouldn't affect pop-the-clutch starts. It's basically the same thing as turning the key past "On" to start it, which you don't have to do to do a pop-the-clutch start.

Ah, okay, it doesn't sound too bad then. I don't expect to need to pop the clutch, though god knows doing so has saved my bacon in both the Civic and in the SAAB in the past.

Sweet! I bought my '10 Miata at Groove. Wish I knew you were in the market, I would have given you my name for a referral bonus.
When I bought my silver Speed 3 at Mazda of Lakewood they had 2 other non-tech silver Speed 3's on their lot. Guess they had sold them by this point.
The only thing on the tech package I think I 'might' like is the push button start. I don't mind the key, but think the push button start is a nice extra.

I'd never use the OEM NAV as the screen is way too small IMO.
Glad you're enjoying the new car.
