Mine has the 2.3 Turbo MZR (used to be standard engine) under the hood (tons of low end torque) and AWD. I bet the CX-5 can't go up the mountain like my CX-7. I can cruise up I70 at 80+mph in 6th gear at under 3k rpm flying pass everybody. I would like to see CX-5 do that... I think not.
I like the CX-5, it looks nice and might be OK around the city, might not be too much fun when you get to a hill.
