Anybody know of a good place to get used Yakima/Thule roof racks for a 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback? Im doing some research on a good set, cause I might go on vacation this spring/summer and need extra cargo room.

There are integrated points on the roof so makes installation easier. I have an idea what I want, but need to save a few bucks going used.

I think Rack Attack sells some used roof racks (Denver Area). Personally, I would lean towards Yakima since the systems are generally less expensive. The new Whispar flush system looks really cool, though since you are looking used, it is probably not an option. Round bars with a faring would be a good bet.

I might bite the bullet and go for new I suppose.

new racks are expensive. fi you will put it to a lot of service, it might be worth it. If youare an REI member, the garage sales are a great place to pick up rack pieces.

If it's a 1 time thing, I rented a rack a couple of years back when we went camping.
