Simota Short Ram Intake Installed

I installed a Simota Carbon Fiber SRI this past weekend on my 05 MZ3 HB. Installation was fairly simple following this guide. but I took my time to be sure I didn't mess up something simple.
First thing to note is that the heat sheild is not 100% CF...or if it is, they don't clean up the inside of the box very well.
All parts look to be well made and assemble cleanly.
I did go and buy a different screw for the model I have to re-mount the barometer (04-05 models apparently). I bought mine used. It was a prototype that was then upgraded through V3. I like the idea of the breather filter that comes with the V4 to eliminate extraneous hoses though, so one of those may be in my future.
The sound of the intake is not overbearing, but you can tell there is something different under the hood under throttle. No real power gains that I can tell, but that would have been a secondary benefit for me. I do get some vibrations at >5500 rpms in 3rd. I will be investigating how to eliminate that, but it is not the easiest thing to test.
I like the openness of the area without the extra plastic associated with the stock box, and elimination of the battery breather tube. I would like to put in a different battery box with no lid now and paint some of the other plastic in the engine bay.
