Found this on craigslist and I had to buy it. 1998 Honda Civic. 124xxx miles. enkei rims. It is in very good condition specially given what I paid for. :) 2,000$ not much to say about it except it runs great and is clean. The PO was a good looking girl. ;)

My plans for it are simple. Window tint. Self start alarm system. coilovers and nice rims. in that order.

not too loud or riceroni. The car behind me can't hear it if they have the windows up but the stereo off. I was driving behind her cause she helped me bring it home and I couldn't hear it. I'm still planning to take it out in the near future.

The wheels remind me of like old Chevys on like 30+" wheels that you see in the ghetto. Lol. The car looks really high up on them and they look massive in comparison. Gratz on the purchase!

well it's stock suspension with 17" wheels. Not sure what you mean by "ghetto". Though. These wheels may not be fancy expensive rare wheels but they do what wheels are meant to do.

there is a problem with the title. So until the cute girl can get a new one tomorrow I got my money back and she will let me know when she gets it fixed. Does this sound "fishy"? Should I still buy it once she gets the new title? Offers like this don't come by offen.

I'll try to get pics. I plan to keep in touch...

only give her money once you've verified the new title, trust me.
take it to the dmv with her and if anything is weird bounce on her..

now when you say "bounce on her" is that literal? Lol

yeah that's what I was thinking of telling her. If she declines then there might be something she is not telling me. And I did like how she was the one that offered to return my money until everything was fixed. I also think she might have returned my money because she regreted selling it so cheap.

Kind of presumptious, isn't it.

I understand what Lear is saying for once, but those are good looking wheels. What are you going to do for new wheels in the future, I would think those with the coilovers would look great.

Very presumptuous (glares)

I was referring to pics of the owner, db. (who is this guy?)

figured I would update. Soon after the owner not being able to get me the title I decided to go another direction. I found a very clean civic hatchback. It's a Midori green color and the cx model, the base edition. weight is 2200lbs..... :) with an amazing 106hp factory engine. not including drive train and Denver elevation. So I would assume wheel horsepower to be around 80 lol no power steering, and feels great. no a/c which I hardly use. and no power anything. It's lean and kinda mean. 124k miles and zero aftermarket stuff. It needed a little bit of work when I first got it but currently it is nearly 100% complete. It needed the following.

ignition switch assembly (purchased at checkers and installed it the next day)
door lock keys (Honda was not able to pull up my code so I had to take my door lock cylinder)
stereo, climate control, bezel, various switches, (purchased all that on ebay and installed an old stereo that plays cd's. I was going to use the original but I need an antenna)
hood release cable (I already have a brand new one but it has been too cold to install, requires lower dashboard removal, bumper and grill and fender removal :( )
most important it needed some cleaning.

I still need the following to be 100% complete
rear cargo cover (I'm going to make my own)
new or newer carpet
fix exhaust leak. ( I think its just missing bolts or something.)
complete tune up (spark plugs and wires, distributor cap and rotor, oil and filter, radiator flush, intake filter, fuel filter, thermostat. they are all in good condition but it is a smart idea to change all this when you just bought a new used car.

my future plans are very simple
15" bbs wheels or some sort of mesh wheels with some lip
adjustable coilovers that will work nice for DD.
wax car and maybe a respray in the future.
minor tint on windows

So here she is. My official new car. Already got her registered and plated. Don't mind the plate on the windshield. I haven't been able to put the plate right because the bolts don't come out from the bumper.
