I just got this back from Mike Ward Infiniti, where I had a little work done. The rear liftgate wasn't locking, and they replaced the actuator mechanism for me. Not a brand new 'Burban, but new enough for me and the upcoming winter.

I was just going to say, at least you took pictures of the Suburban in it's natural environment (the gas station) haha.

Good looking truck tho!

Good looking truck Barn. You'll be happy with it- they're pretty stout/reliable, in my experience.

(Re: gas) Gotta pay to play, I always say.

Thanks guys. I'm eager to see what the true MPG is on it (compared to what the onboard computer is telling me). And yes Operator, that was essentially full empty. According to the owners manual, it has a 30 gal tank, so I was pretty much there.

That's a HUGE bitch! Congrats. It would definitely come in handy when you need a lot of space.

I looked at a few Z71 Burbans before getting the wagon. They were downright cheap when I was looking, thanks to gas prices at that time. I actually prefer this body style to the newer body style. Not as cartoony-chunky.

Congrats!

I would think you should get a little better milage since you have the smaller motor.

My brother had a 2002 2500HD extended cab with camper shell with the Vortec 6000. I think he was getting 15 or so hw.
