Turbo inlet? As in intake to turbo connection?

A loose turbo inlet would not cause a boost leak, though it could mess with your fuel trims a little. And I would strongly recommend against you trying to adjust your own tune in ATR.

Turbo inlet in constant vacuum and never sees boost. Most people pressure test their systems by removing the turbo inlet and putting a plug on the compressor inlet.
