I just hope it ends up better than the outgoing Super Snake. A comparo between it and souped up versions of the Camaro and Challenger had it in 3rd place behind the other two, despite having the most power. Still an awesome car though, just not sure it's worth the price. When you start getting close to 100k there are some pretty tough options to beat.

kinda cool, but to me, it's like having a 100K accord, camaro, lancer, or other equiv mass-produced vehicle. When a base model starts at under 20K, there's just no justifying a version that is close to 5 times that amount. You'd have to be an extreme mustang enthusiast to buy something that nobody will recognize as a 80-100K vehicle.. and it will depreciate at a horrific pace

Ford really needs to make another true super car or even a sports car.

Not to mention for 10k you can have 800hp in a regular new 5.0, lol. Built motor, supercharger, and a whole bunch of boost. Or you could even go turbo, but that would be a couple thousand more.

^But does the Super Snake have suspension upgrades and things like that that would add to the $10K? I agree with you, you could still build a base model with all the upgrades for much less than the SS haha, it's basically the name/model you're paying for.

It's like with the FD. I REALLY want a Spirit R. It's just like the regular FD but with minor upgrades here and there, and for that year they weren't available or legal in the U.S. I'd have to pay to get one crash tested in the U.S. for it to be registered here. Then pay to have a good one imported, if you can even find one. But if I had the money, I TOTALLY would lol.

Yea I'm sure there are suspension upgrades, but for 2k you can have a very nice suspension setup on a 5.0 too.

I know you're mostly paying for the name. Just saying that the Super Snake didn't do as well as the other upgraded models of Camaro and Challenger and I don't think it's worth close to triple the price of a base 5.0.

But like you said, if money weren't an issue, it'd be cool to have that special rare model.

Oh I agree with you, I don't think it's worth that much either, but I also don't see it as much different than me wanting a Spirit R for the same reason, so I guess I'm a hypocrite LOL.

Although I don't think even bringing a Spirit R over here would cost that much haha.
