Hiya okay I took my car in for the CEL code is: P0128 thermostat. I know almost the ins and outs of the rx-7 but no idea anything of the 3. Is this a easy change-out? Easy to check to see if its fine ? Anyone interested in showing me and/or I'll buy you beer or something to help me learn/fix :)

If you need a new thermostat I can get you one for around $35.

I know nothing about this CEL though or actually replacing the thermostat.

i thought my phone posted the message, guess it never did.. Sure! I'll buy one off you. It's a bit less expensive than most of the places I looked at... I,'m probably just gonna take it in, and have it changed out.

Also, the CEL disappeared today. Do you think, safe measures... I should still get it replaced?

OBDII does do an auto reset on most codes after certain conditions (like 12 heat cycles - cold start to warm - and no additional problem with that sensor). You are prbably fine, but that code can come back. Your t-stat may not be a problem at all. Personally I would drive it and if the code comes back again, then deal with it.
