whistling noise

i have this whistling noise coming from the engine bay. sounds like its coming from under the intake mani. sound changes when you go WOT or snap the throttle. ive replaced all the CEL related issues hoping itll solve the whistling noise. it didnt.
anyone have any idea what it can be? i found a TSB about the gasket between the cat. could this be my problem?
oh yea 04 mazda 3 2.3L

it sounds like a vacuum leak. that is why it changes when you go to WOT.

ive checked pressures (35-45hg at idle)and had a smoke machine hooked up yesterday during lunch at work. no vauum leaks found. im going to ask one of the techs at penkus later on today.

Have you gotten under the car with it running to see if the sound is coming from the gasket?

its still whistling from like 2 months ago in the same spot when we were at meet and i looked...

yea under the intake manifold or around that general area
