The tech I've dealt with the last two times is a prick and a half. He raised his voice to me about not "changing my MAF sensor" and my air filter, all while telling me that I need to go to them first so the job is done right. He wouldn't listen to me or my explanations as to why those things weren't done and continually interrupted me. He repeatedly raise his voice, despite the fact that I was maintaining my composure and threw his credentials in my face. His manager, not Steve Hunt who is usually there, was a little less of an *** but not by much.

They lost a customer today, forever, and I don't want any of you to go there and experience the kind of disrespect I had to deal with today. I'm livid.

I get a free oil change out of it though. I talked to the shop manager and he was not pleased. I also talked to Mazda Corporate... screw that guy.

Good shit, Lyssa. Don't let ANY service professional treat you that way. That's why I complained about the monkey at the Powers Penkhus here, and will take my MS6 to the motor city one (20 minutes away) from now on.

Take it to "Cliff Mazda." That's the one where you drive it off a cliff.

What is it with Mazda stealerships these days? Zico just called tonight and told me about a girl down here with an FC RX-7 having some issues with losing power, so she took it to Penkhus in Motor City here in C Springs and they told her it was the oil metering pump (which isn't very likely first off) and quoted her THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! I want to go in and kick them in the nuts myself.

I'm fond of Groove on Arapahoe. Jason is on the parts team, and he's a CMZC'er. Kenny is the Service Manager, and he's a solid guy.

My car will be going to Spradley Barr Ford from now on. I had a great talk with their Shop Manager and he said that they have trained Mazda mechanics on staff. Maybe that's where we need to go if Mazda sucks ***... Ford lol.

Well it sounds like you did the right thing by letting his superiors know how he is treating customers, so I'm sure he got an earful from his boss, especially if Mazda corporate gets involved.

Unlike tbot, I had some good luck at MOL when I brought mine in for 30,000 mile maintenance. They offered me a free rental car like 3 times while I was waiting, talked cars with me a couple of times, and even gave me what discounts they could. Its really just hit or miss with dealerships from my experience. I've walked away from when I felt like they were BS'ing me, and I too have emailed Mazda corporate about a situation like Lyssa's. I bet Mazda corp. will follow up on this guy.
