that is really cool that you took the time to to do a before set of pics....really helps us see what you have really done.
there is a lot of work you put into this, that is not seen unless you can view the base line....nice job on the final results.
So many times people get a little carried away and end up riceing out their cars. You on the other hand have made
some very tasteful changes while still managing to keep the car looking clean.

As a fellow member who is just starting but hopes to do the same, I can appreciate what you have done. very nice.

What can I say, I'm like a Japanese tourist. I take pictures of all kinds of stuff. What I've shared here doesn't even scratch the surface of the pictures of my car. And my last car (1992 Saturn SC that I autoxed), I had probably a couple hundred pics of it too.

I'm sure when I look back in several years, it will be well worth it.

ive got a really dumb question.

i see your intake is wrapped in some cooling something or other--

i have a fujita f5 CAI, would that make a difference at all with my car?

and what exactly is it wrapped in? [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/d2c457f.gif[/img]

Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you on this.

The intake is wrapped in an insulated, reflective sun shade (like for your windshield). Picked it up at Wal-Mart for less than $10. Does it work? Don't really know, the principle of the wrap is sound so it certainly shouldn't hurt.

The funny thing is, I really don't even clean it all that much. I'll spray it with some Simple Green and hose it down when I wash the car in the summer but even now it's pretty clean and it hasn't been washed in months.
