I love the look of matte black on certain cars... That one, not so much though. :(

I think matte black will make any car look better, but when its a miata to start off with...yeah...

I was contemplating putting in a photoshop request to see if someone could make the 'grin' something less goofy looking.

As it stands, while it's not my favorite look, I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers, so to speak.

I think it looks great, also reminds me of a whale-shark, wich are kew creaturesz, props ::

below is a whale shark, and "phothoshieted" miate matte, a' la infinity g35 grille

^^ what he said! I wish mazda would do something to the front end of the miatas to make them look more aggressive, sporty. I think thats the one thing that still makes it look...chicish/girly...or if you go the extreme...dun dun dun...gay haha.

That shop looks good. I was gonna say just get rid of the chrome lip- and it'd look decent but the chop is nice.
