Real or Poser?

Postby Stealth01 » Mon Mar 15, 2010 9:14

OK, so this aberration was on Hwy 24 today. He effed with me by slamming on his brakes in front of me, then taking off. So I promptly flew by him. His motor was revving pretty high, so I THINK he was trying to keep me from passing, but it's possible he was holding back. Still, I tend to think he's a poser, not a real drag racer for several reasons:

1. The gold wing spoiler on top of the factory lip.
2. The gold rivets around the quarter windows
3. The gold accents around the door handles, edges, and fail vents on the hood.
4. The CB antennas and amber warning light

So...what's your thought?

Those tires are rather skinney...and a real drag racer wouldn't fuck with fake riveted windows, they would apply that money to going faster, not adding weight and looking ghey.

I vote, Pouser.

Think about this...he has a wheelie bar, but no parachute? Isn't it in the rules that if it goes a certain speed it must have a chute? My buddy's fox body stang in NC told me about that rule and it had a chute, and I don't know if it even had a wheelie bar. But my thinking is that if this guy is so fast he needs a bar, he needs a chute too.

I vote poser as well.

^Oh yeah, good point. Although I don't think you need a 'chute until the bottom 10's or even 9's. I have no clue when it's required you need a wheelie bar...in fact I don't think it is in most racing.

You should have flagged him down, then pooped on his hood.
