Halo lights

I was think about converting my lights to the halo kit. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I could be wrong, but the only person I know of that had halos on his Mazda (Mazda 6, which he has sold) is Memphis. He may have some good information for you. Hope more people know about them though.... obviously I don't haha!

I had them on my old 6... Kind of a pain to rig them up and install a switch, but they looked nice. Mine came with a lifetime warranty, burned out in 4 months.

Totally didn't know you had these Eric! Probably because I saw your car after the halos burnt out.....

Let me know if you decide to install these. If the how-to's are still floating around the net I could probly find them, if not I could tell you what I used..

4 months, were you able to utilize the warranty then?

I bought mine through therpmstore.com and they gave me a new inverter free of charge when it burned out.

There are many companies out there selling them. Its hard to pick and choose. Maybe I can talk to some peepz at BMW and see what they can do/recommend. I really think they would look nice, like regulator said, but also afraid of exactly what happened to him.

Edit: If your mazda 3 is like my old 6 then you should have a dummy switch to the left of your steering wheel, big black rectangle. I bought the mazda mpv(minivan) fog light switch from the dealer and set that up for the halo on off switch... just a thought.

yeppers, that was me,, I had a set.. not to to hard to do really as long as you have some what of an idea of what your doing.. My good friend Eric (regulator) had a set to and did a Fabulous job on hiding his wires,, hehe, sorry Eric,, had to Anyways,, if your interested in actually doing this and want some help, let me know.. I do know how its done...

I've heard nothing but issues with the conversion :-( I wanted to do that also, but I heard install is a pain and that in most cases they burn out within a couple of months.
I really want the devil eyes that the new Audi's have. One of my top 5 reasons that I am not complaining that my boyfriend is looking into picking up an Audi lol.

I never had one problem with mine and they were installed for over two years.. there were no leakage in the headlight housing and the rings never went out on me.. And doing the install is a pain the first time only cause your learning it for the first time on what your doing.. but after you know what your doing and what your taking apart it wouldnt be that hard to redo it again if you had to reopen it..

I just got done doing a whole retro fit on my new pathfinder and put in a set of Infinity FX35 HID projectors in my headlights and it was pretty easy cause I knew how to open up headlights from doing my HALOs on my mazda 6..
