Fighting the Urge

Postby Stealth01 » Fri Apr 17, 2009 9:14

I am REALLY fighting the urge right now to take the MS6 out in the snow/slush and have some fun. I have beat up old all-seasons on it, with barely legal tread, so I'd probably get it stuck, but I'd have hella fun doing it! ANd get some cool pix....Maybe I'll start drinking so I'm not tempted to drive...

It's all gone now. And so am I. Three drinks to the wind.

Now tomorrow morning, if there's snow on the roads, I'll be out there. :)

I went out and played a little this morning. Couldn't do vid because...well it was just me in the car. But I did ALMOST get it stuck. In this pic, the snow on the passenger side is up to the fron spoiler and even higher the closer you get to the curb. WHen I left after taking the pic, the snow/slush pulled me toward the curb. I had to rock it twice to get out. Probably could have just gunned it and managed, but I didn't want to hit the curb. :)

Very cool. My baby is nearly gone its so deep outside. The entire front bumper is gone, snow piled up above the hood. I'll have to get some photos.

That slush is some slippery shit. I had to take several runs to get up my driveway.

Yeah, it was slush under the snowdrift, so that made it UGLY. But my baby got me out!

Somehow I ended up driving the Speed 3 to work yesterday.....was nervous for the drive home all day, but it wasnt too bad. This morning I look outside and half the car is buried in snow! Its days like these I'm glad I have the WRX (driving to Boulder to pick up a short shifter and bushing set for the Subaru) Glad to see your back Stealth! The 6 is looking sweet.

FWD in the snow isn't bad, but you probably have the stock summers on it, huh? And I would love to have a Subie, but IMHO they're a bit overpriced.

I just got done taking the truck out and had a blast. There is some much slush on the residential street that it was like mud bog'n. I had so much slush stuck to my truck that I could not get in to park because the linkage was all caked up. Got to love these spring storms.

Yeah, if we had all the snow you Denver folks had, BOTH our cars would have stayed in yesterday...
