Well, lets just say the mod bug has bitten me again........Just bought and installed the ETS 3.5" TMIC:D

Put my Summer wheels back on and still don't like the gap between the Fender and tire.......Sooooooooo what to do, what to do

Only thing I could think of was to order up some Springs......Just ordered the Street Springs from RPM(didn't want a drastic drop just to even things out and keep the ride comfy).

While I was there went ahead and ordered the Denso Iridium ITV22 one step colder plugs........car just hit 36xxx so figured it was time.

Rich did you need to order the camber kit when you installed your street springs? Was wanting to get everything aligned when installed. Have some funny wear on the inside of my front tires. Noticed it when I took them off for winter.....Any wear problems for you? My winter tires wore fine with the stock wheels back in place, so my logic tells me it is the fact that I went lower offset and wider.......

Glad to hear your enjoying your new TMIC!

You'll definitely want to get your alignment done about a week or so after you install the springs. I suspect your tire wear is caused by the toe being out.

My garage, music and a couple beers........Done this before on two of my previous cars. Its not hard unless the bolts don't cooperate(a good soak will help). I think things will be ok seeming the car is only 2.5 years old........we will see. I will be doing this next week if the springs get here by then. Have the wife's car next week just in case something goes wrong.....

Was going to get it done just not sure if the spc camber adjustment kit was needed......Just confused on how the stock wheels and soft winter tires showed no funky wear. Maybe there was some but the aftermarket wheel difference in offset and width must have expedited the wear problem.....IDK

I think the offset might have something to do with it actually. My summer tires (both sets I've had on those wheels) have been wearing VERY quickly, while my winter tires (on different wheels with the wheels not pushed out as far) have been wearing great.

Must be, I just hope fixing the problem now wont change the wear on my winter tires for next year....Been doing a lot of research on the wear/alignment issues. Seems the toe is probably the culprit for the inside wear. I did hit a pot hole last year and wondering if that might have thrown things out of wack???? I was going to go to bear wheel and axle.....only heard good things....

No problem, unfortunately, FMIC is no longer in the works do to a missing FMIC

lol...no don't think that at all. I was going to do FMIC at some point anyway. No not a back out. I might buy a COBB FMIC. Stay tuned.
