So I kinda notice this on and off but when I am really hitting it hard usually in the lower gears 1-3 I notice a slight hickup in my powerband kinda like a really slight bouncing sensation and it usually happens right after the turbo gets going so like about 2.75K rpm and it only happens for a second or two at the most. Any Ideas about this? I think I remember reading about someone else talking about this a long time ago and if memory serves somone said it had to do with the fuel pump but from asking other people about it they say that on a stock car the fuel pump should be able to pump out way more fuel than what the engine actually uses at any given point.

can you map you a/f throughout the powerband? Because that would be your best bet.

I wouldn't think you are modded enough for fuel cut. However, anything is possible with these cars. The best way to find out is to use some sort of logging device like the standback, cobb ap, or dashhawk. I am sure someone will let you use theirs for diagnostic purposes.

Our cars have a brat for an ECU. They don't like cold weather at all, and you'll see more stutter the colder it is. I've heard that it helps to stretch the springs in the spark plug boots, or change your plugs to a lower temp, or run a better ignition delivery system like HKS....I can't vouch for any of these, and can't say that results have been consistent. There's speculation the stutter could be related to knock, AFR, or MAF readings from non-stock intakes. This car hates to be modded, you just need to bitch-slap it back in place.

So me and Andrew (Columbia28) where talking the other day and we think it may just be that sometimes I may have been loading the engine so giving it too much fuel before the turbo spools and therefore causing the stutter (good word for it btw. Thanks Rich). But If anyone would like to hook up a Dashhawk anyway that would be awsome because I do have a modded intake and I think I remember feeling it sometime after I installed it. Plus I think it would be awsome to see all the info on the Dashhawk I love that stuff.
