Tires tires and more tires

Sooo..... I've been driving on my stock tires all winter and im a little fed up with my tires spinning, even in a little bit of rain. I've been tire shopping but I want an all season tire, not just snow tires. Unless I have to, then I will.

Anybody have any suggestions? I saw in another thread someone mentioned Bridgestone Blizzaks, but i'd like to explore more options because as I said, I'd like to go with all season tires. I was also checking out the Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons.

What size are your wheels? 16's, 17's?

I hear the Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons are nice, they were out of my price range
and lifespan was only 30k miles...

I have some yoko allseasons (forgot the model) which do fine except for maybe 5 days out of the year then I am all slippy slidey.

I believe they are 17's. I've been comparing back and forth on different websites, have yet to decide on which to go with. I really dont want to get snow tires then switch back in spring but its most likely what will happen.

I've had good luck in snow with the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 and the Pirelli P6. I've heard the Yokohama H4S is also a good choice. Blizzaks are great if you want a dedicated snow tire that won't be totally mushy on dry pavement, but that comes at a hefty price.

That about covers it, the Blizzaks are great, but spendy and do not last long on pavement. I have the all season Pirelli's on my Evo and they are great even when I am really pushing it.

I have the Eagle F1 All Seasons....happy with them except for ice traction.

I think I'll end up buying the F1's, they seem to be very highly rated on all the sites i've been checking out and what not. Its more then I wanted to spend but oh well. Thank you everyone!

Have you looked at the Eagle Gt's??? I have those on my 18" rims and really like them a lot. Speedracer has them on his car too and he's said good things about them as well, plus they aren't as expensive as the F1's.

I'd have to buy bigger rims in order to do that. I considered going to 16's with snow tires and keeping my stockers nice because I wanted to powder coating them to black the car out but that is more $ that I dont have.

I own a 3 bedroom home and live with my brother, we have a spare room FULL of our junk and 2 of his friends' junk, yet I still find room in there for tile, tools, a desk, subs, amps, clothes, and soon tires :lol:

You just gotta learn how to arrange your junk!
