Radio was all static at random
roomie was saying it was just smoking on hard acceleration
and tranny felt super clunky

Gosh darnit! Sorry to hear this Bertha! If it makes you feel any better, I threw a CEL two days ago. I have to go see Dave to scan it and find out whats going on. My tranny also has been feeling clunky. Hope it gets fixed soon...
