My Mazdaspeed FMIC and Dyno

Well guys I myself have been with CPE in the beginning and then moved on and well what can I say I'm back. I've been back for a few weeks now and my car is loving me for it. I'm currently in the process of switching all my 'mutt' mods out for CPE parts. Already have my FMIC on and the DP in the garage going on next week. Once I get the fuel pump in and engine mount which should be within a few weeks as well, I'll be going to the dyno. I'll dyno once before and then after the flash within 5 degree's of ambient temps.

I'm running 13.88's at 102 up here in 5800 elevation. Not too bad considering that was only a 2.2 60' ft and I've trapped 104mph up here already. Seriously can't wait for that flash to get me in the mid 13's hopefully.

Another thing that we all know is the outstanding customer service from Jordan / Lou / eh Josh :P. I've had my own issues with stuff because I'm a dumbass but Jordan and everyone at CPE has been there to help me through it and make sure it was done right in the end. I've never had anything bad to say about their customer service and I doubt I ever will. I've given the standback its rash of shit in the past but comparing it to the AP (no this is not a bash session) it makes the car run like it should not like a POS.

I will be updating this thread once I get the dyno done and then I will send my ECU in for a reflash the next day so it should all be completed within about 4 days roughly... not to long for a back to back comparison

Congrats on your new set-up.
Impressive numbers. Nothing like being addicted to HP.
Looking forward to the comparison and seeing bigger numbers.

that boost loss is diasappointing... were these 3rd gear pulls or 4th gear? I was hoping the fm would control it a little better than that. Hopefully, you just have a loose coupler?.?. Im sure you've rechecked

Is it normal for HP and torque to both cross while each are decreasing? Maybe it's my NA experience, but usually HP is still rising when it crosses the declining torque curve.

When you get into the 400whp Club than come talk to me. LOL J/K! Congrats! Is it me or is it off-center?

Tom it was because my boost wasn't holding.

Eric it was 4th gear pulls.

I wil be giong back and re-dynoing once I get the boost issue fixed. It was due to it being too hot for my turbo to hold 18psi I was commanding. Jordan is gonna fix it no worries.

Everyone needs to take into account the different max values for HP and TQ as well. Each side is not equal, and that will change how the graph looks when comparing the two values.
