I tinted this car this morning, the owner is a good friend, so we b.s.'d the whole time Im working on his car... so I got the entire tour of this car, and Ive got to honestly say, this is without a doubt, the NICEST suv I've been in. Base price is $70k, but with all his options, he paid $117k... UNBELIEVABLE.. I could go on and on for hours about the options, but the few that impressed me most I will throw down for ya...
Internet, email capable
Alcantera Leather Dash, Seats, Headliner, EVERYTHING
heated AND cooled seating, plus glove box can be set to a cool 32 degrees for drinks..lol
Multiple suspenion ride heights (okay not that cool, but the sound it makes when lowering is tits)
Multipe driving characteristics...ie comfort mode, and sport mode.... (this is where i got impressed)...When you hit sport mode, the car lowers to its lowest driving position (bout 2 inches clearnce in the fenderwells, so now its a sport car, not an SUV).. then it opens a butterfly valve in the exhaust to creat a DEEP growl (its no longer moms car), it also changes valve settings, adjusts timing, raises shifting points, tightens suspension, eliminates body roll....
Now all this shit is cool to look at, but it was way cooler when he took me for a 10 minute ride...HOLY SHIT he took a 90 degree turn going 55, the car didnt budge off its rails... Huge 21" rims with 300 series tires definitely can hold the 6200lb suv down.. As for power, it has the standard 4.8L v8, its not the turbo or turbo S model, so I was fairly disappointed in the speed, hell most the speed cars on here could toast it in a race...it claims a modest 405hp, but its lugging around over 6 thousand pounds.. I would have opted for the 530hp turbo s instead, but who's bitching.... anyways, nicest car ive ridden in a long time...check it out
