This is Matthew. That is Matthew's Miata. He's not polishing it, he's wiping off the coolant that is smeared across the hood from blowing either his radiator or a hose. He's not sure which, yet. I helped push his car into the neighborhood to that parking space, so I told him I'd hook him up with some of the Miata-smart guys here in the club that might be able to help him out.

He's supposed to bring me his cellphone # later. If he does, I'll post and PM it to whomever wants to lend him a hand. Nice kid, just always seems to have trouble with his Miata, and I know we have some folks in here who know that car inside and out.

OK, guys, I have four phone numbers for Matthew and his dad Bruce. They added water and found it leaking out through the seal at the top of the radiator, so he probably needs a new radiator. It's a 1992 Miata with 153K miles on it. Only other problem he's had was the clutch cylinder.

So...if anyone knows either A) a good shop to install the radiator or B) where to get a radiator cheap and can help them install it, post here. I'll PM their phone numbers to you.

Thanks ahead of time, folks.

Tell him to head up to Charlie's place in Commerce City, if he has the time.. warehouse full of totalled Miatae. if he needs new seats, he can score those at the same time.

Sadly, I don't have an actual address or phone number, but i can find it on a google map..

Let me dig through the RMSolo.org forums, I know the phone number's in there somewhere.

Chris, if you're lurking do you know the guy I speak of?

As for help, I'm getting my shoulder operated on on Tuesday (I've dislocated it like 7 times since last year July), so I can't actually help, but I can supervise if the day of the week is right.

Thanks, man. I'll tell him about Charlie's...he should be able to find a radiator there.

Good luck with the surgery!

I've never worked on a miata but I can help. I have done a number on radiator installs and I'm sure in can't be much diferent. If he gets a shop manual it's not a problem.
