So StreetUnit says that the Cobb SRIs for the 'speed 3 are unobtanium right now with a 7-8 week backorder period... A source at another Cobb dealer told me "the company that makes the air stabilizer f***** them up", whatever that means. Either way I can't find anyone with them in stock.

I'd still like to go with an SRI, but I'm not sure I want to wait 2 months to do it. How would you guys proceed? Thanks. :)

Ewww. When i ordered mine back in November of last year i waited about a month and it sucked.... BUT wow was it worth the wait. I realize you don't want to wait, but man if you can its so worth it. I absolutely love my Cobb SRI! My favorite mod iv bought for any car so far.

Alternatives would be a MS CAI running in SRI form. But Mazda discontinued it for some reason or another, not sure why. The CP-E maybe can be run in SRI form but iv never known anyone to. The AEM CAI is the same as the MS CAI so that may be another option.

Sucks they are backordered again for so long. The amount of them Cobb has and will still sell, its strange to think they don't have more ready. Also keep an eye out on the 3 forums for some being sold by members.

try any other sources? There's a handful of sites that sell them.

I think they are back ordered all over the place. Occasionally some of the big forums have a private seller, but you need to watch them, cause they go fast.
